Manjari Phadnis is literally on cloud nine. Having received rave reviews for her performance in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na the actress says that her life has changed completely. "Though I was not here during the release of
Jaane Tu.. I am getting calls and roles that I never hoped I would get to do."
Meanwhile Manjiri is busy with a slew of film down South and is looking forward to her next venture with none other than Rajat Kapoor titled I am 24 directed by Sourabh Shukla.
"I play a 24 year old in the film.
Rajat Kapoor and I befriend each other on the internet and we become Chat friends. He is balding and is 42 years of age and he lies to me that he is 24. How life changes after that is what the film is all
about."
Right now the actress has no other film on the anvil. "I am waiting for the right project. I am going through scripts. I am a student of Shiamak Davar's dancing school and would love to show this side of my talent
too.
I have a lot of Tamil Films on hand which I am busy completing I am doing a Tamil film titled Muthira. It is also a Vikram Bhatt film directed by a famous cinematographer called Jeeva.
Apart from
this, I am also acting in an untitled Telugu film opposite Naresh.
Apart from keeping herself busy with south ventures the actress spends her time sketching and painting portraits of friends. "It is a kind of stress buster. When I am not busy I love painting and sketching. I am also
catching up on a lot of reading. Right now I am reading Erich Sehgals' Doctors" informs Manjari.
