If you thought Indian actors have only NRIs for a fan following, think again. There is enough speculation about Indian male actors too. There`s a lot of noise being made about the two-film old Vivek Oberoi who has also been offered several international projects. One such film is by a German director who won an Oscar for a short film last year. The director, who saw Company, was so impressed with the Indian actor that he has decided to wait till he gets a nod from him. And what does the actor have to say?

"I am not going to do a `City of Joy` kind of film where all one gets to see is devastation and poverty ridden projection. On a personal level I couldn`t come to terms with the idea though it would take only 30 days for the shoot. I want to project the real India which is not always black. I would hate myself doing all those scenes of India bashing. I still need to have a sitting with the director to get a clearer picture," says this down-to-earth actor. You see, not all actors are blindly ambitious.
