Amitabh Bachchan is first in all the things he decides to do. After being chased by all the top notch producers and the most respected directors to do their films, he is also fast becoming the hot favourite of Bollywood`s music directors.
Just two days back, he recorded his 25th film song for Ravi Chopra`s Baghbaan which teams him up with the still gorgeous Hema Malini in the lead. While viewers are waiting impatiently to see the pair light up the silver screen once again, they could also look forward to hearing his rich baritone in a `melodious sad composition`.Now with due respect to the mega actor, and his superbly rich voice, the Big B `s singing talent is not exactly one of the best in the film industry. But at the rate he is being approached by music companies to record songs or by producers who insist on including at least one song in their films he signs up for, he must be giving a massive inferiority complex to lesser known playback singers.
Remember Nitin Mukesh, Shailendra Singh, or Manhar Udhas? While their claim to fame may be a certain figure as their list of recorded songs, Bachchan clearly has an edge over them - he has been a singing star, leaving most of them far behind in popularity!
