The sea has for centuries held the imagination and darkest fears of man. This is probably the reason why sailing in the oceans is considered as one of the most adventurous activities.

And keeping this adventure streak alive is the Volvo Ocean Race. The race that is a test of sailing prowess and human endeavor based on the great sea farers from the time gone by.

The main objective of the race is to record the fastest time between ports, and today is seen as being at the zenith of all sports. To find out more about this Bollywood Hungama caught up with Dino Morea who was recently invited by team Puma to come aboard their vessel for a day to experience the sailing.

Dino chirps happily about this day when he made one of his childhood dream come true by boarding the Puma craft saying, "It was simply awe inspiring; the way the team works to battle it out with the elements in the middle of the sea."

Dino was on board for just a day and the experience he shares with us seems like he was along for a long voyage. "We set out from the port of Cochin and sailed a few miles into the sea, it was really tough. I had never expected sailing to be so tiring and exhilarating."

Further he also adds, "When I was invited by the guys at Puma to experience a day aboard their ship, I was really happy and glad to get this opportunity, but now that I have my feet firmly planted on the ground I am still awed by what the racers face through the entire course."
