Bollywood hunk John Abraham is excited about running the Mumbai marathon early next year.

Following the recent terror attack which shook the entire city and the whole world, this time the Marathon is expected to send a strong message. The slogan of the event which will be held on January 18, 2009 is 'Run Mumbai Run.'

Hunky John as a brand ambassador of the Marathon has appealed the people to run to bring change and development, "The 26/11 redefined for me what the marathon is all about as taking on the terrorists in those days was a marathon of courage. Now, if we all can run together, there is nothing and nobody that can pull us apart."

The fitness freak has added, "If you cannot go to the gym every day because of work pressure, do at least watch your diet, it is important to have a good, clean diet for you will be running in the heats. Personally, I love the training and the challenge of how far I can stretch myself."

This one looks like an apt ambassador for sure!
