Jaggu insouciance may not be getting him enough work but that quality still endears him to not just film folk but most of his fans as well. Personally, he thanks God for not allowing him to fall into a trap of a set image. "Right from Kaash, I never really had an image and have always been offered interesting characters."

With the perception of `the elder brother` to many stars his age, he has never really cared even if he got to play second fiddle to them. "They made me act as Anil`s (Kapoor) elder brother when in reality he is much older," he chuckles. But why did he allow such things to happen? "Because I do look like a dada (elder brother) and I am more of a dada (bully),"he laughs off. While he has no regrets whatsoever for handling his career somewhat lazily, he has "had enough of films" and has passed on the mantle of the producer to wife, Ayesha, to make films.

And what does he want for himself? "May be go in for semi-retirement".One look at this swaggering hero, and one would wonder what on earth for –since Jaggu still has the debonair ways and sexy looks to make much younger competition pale into insignificance.
