What is your role in the film Victory?
I play myself in Victory. When I heard the script, I got very enthusiastic about it as it is a sports film with cricketers from all over the world acting in it.
How was it working with the director, Ajitpal Mangat?
Ajitpal Mangat and myself bonded very well as we both are Punjabis and we both like Makkai Di Roti & Sarso Da Saag.
How was it working with Harman Baweja?
Harman is a very warm person and I share a great rapport with him, we had a great time working together while filming shots for Victory. He is a very talented actor and I am sure after the film Victory releases, he will have the world moving behind him.
After Victory releases, Harman will have the world moving behind him. Would you call Victory your Bollywood debut film?
I play myself in Victory and I am a part of Vijay Shikhawat (Harman)'s team. My life is cricket and I don't know about the future but I am sure I want to be a cricketer only all my life, and as an answer to your question no I would not call the film Victory my debut film.
Any particular reason you did Victory?
I got to know from everybody that the script was very authentic and all my colleagues were a part of the film, so I too wanted to be a part of Victory.
How was it acting for Ajitpal's Victory?
It was a great experience, on field we have a captain who tells you what to do on the field but here, I had Ajitpal Mangat who wanted me to bowl in at particular speed so that the batsman could hit fours and sixes. It's something which I have never done in my life but I managed to do that (laughs).
What if Victory-2 goes on floors and you are approached for the lead?
No one has approached me yet but if they can afford my price I may think of doing Victory-2.
