Film stars are as human as one would imagine them to be. Why? They do gorge on goodies, fall sick and play truant from work, just the way normal human beings do. So it may have been surprising to see Karisma Kapoor taking a day off from shooting of the Tinnu Verma film Baaz – A Bird in Danger, but in reality she was only being "normal" to fast for her hubby-to-be-Abhishek. You see, it was karwa chauth.
"She is as good as my bahu (daughter-in-law) already, whenever they decide to formalise their relationship," says a beaming pa-in-law, Amitabh.Never mind the skimpy outfits she wears for the filmi jigs, Lolo is "very human" and "traditional to the core". Isn`t it perfectly `Indian` and `human` to fast for one`s soul-mate?
We are not going to talk about Lolo`s grand dinner rendezvous with the Prince of Brunei at his magnificent mansion some two years ago. The Prince, one hears, is absolutely smitten by her and had even flown in in his luxury aircraft to fetch her on her birthday. Where was your `Indian` fiancé then, Ms Kapoor?
