For the past few months the singer has been targeted not only by members of his own music fraternity but also goons from a particular political party who have been constantly barraging Adnan with calls asking him to leave Mumbai.

Let alone leave Mumbai, Adnan now has a critically-ill father fighting for his breath at a luxury hospital in Mumbai.

Adnan who moves around with a posse of security guards to protect his own life must now fight not only for himself but also for his father.

Distraught and harried Adnan says, "My father was down in Mumbai from Houston for a holiday when all hell broke loose. He had a relapse of the the cancer of his pancreas . We had to rush him to hospital"

In the past week Adnan has been in and out of the hospital, barely getting sleep. "Please pray for him, " says the musician softly.
