Re-starting her second innings after her marriage with Deepak, Simran is struggling to attract the producers and actors. The gap taken after marriage has worked in a negative way for the pretty actress.

On the advice of late director Jeeva she got into commercial ads and started performing character roles.

Later, she hop-skipped onto that grounds for Vaaranam Aayiram, Seval and now Taxi No 9211. But the actress dreamed of working alongside Vijay. She even planned of producing a film where she was to pair with Vijay but Vijay refused her offer.

She even tried to rope in Vishal but even things didn't work out with him. Now the diva has given up plans for film production and instead opted out for producing serials.
