Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is set to return to the small screen as the host of the second season of "Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi", which promises to feature bigger stars and meaner stunts.

"The show is going to be a notch higher in terms of bigger celebrity participants than the last season, the difficulty level of challenges and even Akshay Kumar. The inclusion of the common man as a co-contender will definitely create a lot of excitement, " said Ashvini Yardi, programming head, Colors.

For season two, the auditions will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Ahmedabad starting Feb 9

"Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi" debuted in July 2008 and was won by model Nethra Raghuraman, who walked away with Rs.5 million prize money.
