Bappi Lahiri smartly banks on Slumdog as Slum Stars

Bappi Lahiri, who gave the hit number, ‘Mumbai Nagariya' from Taxi 9211 is back with a bang. He is making an album on slum children after the recent hit movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire' who is nominated for the Oscars.

Bollywood's ace music director Bappi Lahiri recently said that he is releasing a music album on slum kids in the city. Four songs of the album, 'Slum Stars' have already been recorded while work was in progressing on six-seven more tracks.

Lahiri also said that there were no comparisons between his album and the Hollywood hit Slumdog Millionaire.
