Deepika Padukone is reportedly disappointed about the failure of her high profile film 'Chandi Chowk to China'.

She's very sad about the fact that many feel that she's proved unlucky for co-star Akshay Kumar especially since the film's failure comes at a time when movies with Akshay in the lead were a huge draw at the Box Office for almost two years.

But Deepika defends and says, "Of course, I am disappointed with the film's failure. But, that does not stop me from looking at the brighter side. My work was appreciated and I learnt a lot from the film. I will better myself as an actor."

Now she's has much to look forward and one of them happens to be her next release with Saif Ali Khan and Imtiaz Ali.

She informs, "I play Meera, a girl of today who has to deal with relationships. She is a modern young woman but traditional to the core. She follows her heart."

Talking about Saif Deepika says, "Saif is like a child and needs to be taken care of."
