Arbaaz Khan might not be as great a star as his brother Salman but he has been quietly doing his kind of work. He was last praised for 'Fashion' where he starred alongside Priyanka Chopra. The fact that the recently released 'Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye' with Raima Sen and Randeep Hooda didn't do well doesn't worry him much.
Now he is looking forward to his newest movie, 'The Stoneman Murders' which he said tempted him a lot. He's mighty impressed by the movie written and directed by Manish Gupta and produced by Bobby Bedi.
He's said, "I have played a cop on a killer's trail in many movies. But there is a difference in the portrayal of the character in a mainstream commercial movie and a realistic film. The element of conflict in the police department is handled very subtly in this film. The film is a dramatised version of a true incident. There is detailed research work involved."
The role is that of sub-inspector Kedar Phadke, a laid back cop, whose rivalry with Kay Kay Menon motivates him more than his sense of duty.
He's explained, "He is the official investigator of a mysterious serial murder case and is unaware that Menon has been assigned to unofficially investigate the case by his superiors."
Let's hope the movie meets the expectations of Arbaaz and the audience.
