The latest happened while he was shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Con Flick'.
He was recently shooting for a song and dance sequence for the film in London.
According to sources, the very first day of shooting of the film was in front of the Buckingham Palace and the entire unit had assembled there, waiting for Govinda. But just when he arrived and took a look around, he blatantly declared he would not shoot at that location.
And his reasoning was simple.
He said, "I am a Member of Parliament from the ruling party of our country and it would not be right for me to dance in front of England's Queen."
The director then tried to convince Govinda that it was just a shoot and the Queen also might perhaps not be in there but to avail.
But stubborn Govinda argued back and asked what would happen if she peeped out from a window. Dhulia didn't know whether to laugh or cry at Govinda's reply.
Govinda was in no mood to change his mind and that's why Dhulia was left with no option but to shift the shoot elsewhere.
In fact he remembered that Govinda had left the shoot midway earlier over some argument. So basically he was left with no choice.
There were also portions of the film with the Queen's look alike which Govinda insisted on being deleted from the film. Some people refuse to develop a cooperative and pleasant personality. Govinda sure is one of them.
