"I am definitely looking forward to 2009. It has been a pleasant year for me with my South film Arundhati having had a huge response. Now my producer plans to make the film in Hindi.
My next Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge is all set for a release. I play a star in the film and what is more interesting is that I get to play 11 characters in the film right from Sholay, Deewar, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge and Lagaan" informs Sonu.
The actor says more than the characters it was giving 11 different voice modulations in the film. "Making them sound different was the most challenging part" he reveals.
After the debacle of Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi Sonu is now looking forward to doing more romantic movies "Romance is one angle which connects to the audience. I love romantic films. Even in Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge I have a romantic angle.
I play a superstar who falls for an ordinary girl played by Soha. It's got it's own comic angle to it" says Sonu. He is also looking forward to J.P. Dutta's period film.
"Last year has been a good year Jodha Akbar, Singh Is Kingg and Rajashri Productions Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi. I had three good releases. I want to be choosy and just not pick up anything that comes my way for the heck of it. I want something that takes me to another level. Lots of scripts are coming my way so I am hoping for the best" he says and concludes.
