Dino Morea has made it. Well almost. If one takes stock of his popularity in the recent past - what with his phone ringing incessantly from morning till past midnight, or a long queue of producers waiting to sign him, he sure has made a big difference to his status. If one considers the fact that the model turned actor has remained just what he started out with – a model, it would also suggest that he has a long way to go, for whoever has seen him mug up lines on the sets and emoting before the camera, would know what a spectacle he is while delivering.

But last week, all the speculation was laid to rest when at Karisma`s surprise bash, where the guest list comprised only family and some very close friends, a smiling Dino`s presence made everyone take note of him, rather unbelievingly – Is he close to the Bachchans or the Kapoors, they wondered.

It was only when Lolo was seen dragging him to her close group of friends and going all out to make him comfortable that things fell in place – he`s been indeed a close buddy of Lolo`s ever since the two started shooting for Tinu Varma`s Baaz together and hit of off instantly from day one.
