/> Madhavan a.k.a. Maddy is enjoying every moment that he is spending on the promotion of 13B. His supernatural film (and not horror, as he insists) movie is all set to arrive this Friday and his phone hasn't stopped buzzing during last fortnight. Reason?

His film is a bilingual and since it has been made in Hindi as well as Tamil language, there are enquiries and interview requests from North to South. Literally!

"My state is like that of a pregnant lady who is about to deliver twins. It's painful, there is anxiety, there is anticipation but then there is a lot of fun.

I have my twins, the Hindi and the Tamil version, up for making an arrival in this world in two days from now and I am enjoying every moment of attention that they are getting", says Maddy who was last seen on the big screen in Mumbai Meri Jaan that fetched him quite some accolades.

So how was the process of working in a bilingual, his first? "Honestly speaking, it was supremely challenging for me as an actor since we had to do the same shot back to back in two different languages. However, there had to be the same amount of sincerity in both the takes", says Maddy.

But why not just go for the dubbed version? Why to go through the pain of re-shooting the same scene twice?

"But then dubbed films have absolutely no market! In fact I can never dream of dubbing in one of the prime languages", Maddy states in a matter of fact tone, "By making 13B in two different languages, I am respecting the nativity of the two languages and the setting where they are applied.

For example, when a scene requires Gods to be shown in a 'pooja ghar', we have to have a different setting in Tamil and Hindi versions."

Whose idea was it to make a bilingual out of 13B? "It was Manmohan Shetty's (who was the producer of the film earlier on) idea to make the film as a bilingual.

He could visualize that at a much lesser cost we could make the same film in two different languages by capturing every shot back to back. He was so right because now we have got two films ready with us in almost the same amount of time that is taken to make one film", smiles Maddy.

Written and directed by Vikram Kumar, the film has Madhavan and Neetu Chandra in both the versions. Other supporting actors in the Hindi version are Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Poonam Dhillon and Deepak Dobriyal. With music by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, this Big Pictures' production is releasing today.
