Gone is the sari and the demure "bahu" (Ragini of Bidaaii) image. Parul Chauhan had everyone shocked with her new western look as she opened the show on Sony's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa – Dancing with the Stars 3.

In friday's episode, the contestants show their skills in Latin American dancing styles. Parul's Samba performance required the youngster to don a style she has never tried in her entire life.

Coming from a middle-class background from Ahmedabad and straight into Bidaaii to play a role almost earmarked for her, this western makeover comes as a complete turnaround.

When the 'Teen deviyan' asked her how she felt in the red halter dress, Parul earnestly replied "This is the first time I am wearing a dress like this...and I like it!!"

Her choreographer Deepak needs to take a bow—first he turned Prachi Desai from a weeping willow into a glamorous winner and now abou t to take Parul down the same alley. So will Parul be the next girl to master the sexy moves?
