You are lucky if you skipped Yukta`s latest flick opposite Aftab and the new guy Zulfee. Verdict was written on the wall at very first show. Film fell flat and so did Yukta. Lately she has been whining about the male-dominated film industry. During the shooting of her debut film, Pyaasa, things came to such a head that she almost got thrown out of the film. Now that the film has bombed badly, one would expect the film`s cast to put aside all animosity and get on with life. But Yukta obviously has other ideas.
After calling up anybody who is somebody to narrate her sob stories, she has gone a step ahead. She is seriously contemplating issuing a notice to all those who harassed her with the help of one of the film associations. Not that anybody in his right mind would want to give a patient hearing to her grievances but she is bent upon letting the world how much she suffered at the hands of the director of Pyaasa and her co-star Aftab Shivdasani.
The inclusion of the actor`s name in her list of enemies is being pooh-poohed by the gentle Sindhi actor`s acquaintances in film circles since the actor reportedly went out of his way to ease matters for her. What will this one-film-old actress gain out of maligning her co-stars particularly when her reputation, not to mention her career, is on a sticky wicket?
