When quizzed about Hit Man, Shiney says, "All that I can say is that it won't be much of a Gangster kind of film. I can't reveal much now. I have still got to read the complete script."
Ask him about the limited films in his kitty and Shiney replies, "I choose my films very carefully. It's not that I am not receiving any offers. I don't want to sign films left and right and then regret them.
I don't want to sign ten films and have eight flops in my hand. I can't afford to do that. I do not belong to a family from the industry hence I have to be more careful.
People will scrutinize my work more carefully hence I can't afford to make mistakes. I have to pick and choose the best and that is what I have been trying to do all along."
A lot has been written about Shiney taking a panga on sets of his films with his co-stars both male and female. Shiney however defends himself stating, "I have been hearing them too and they are not true.
Why should I react when it's not true? When I am not talking it means I am busy working. I have been hearing a lot of scripts and understanding them I have no time for baseless rumours so why react?"
Shiney presently is looking forward now to the release of Jahnu Barua's Har Pall where his co-star is Preity Zinta. He is also looking forward to Reliance BIG Entertainment Ltd (RBEL) under production film Chaloo Movie being directed by Vinod Pandey and Amit Saxena's Take 2.
