It has come out that Saif Ali Khan was supposed to do Vishal Bharadwaj's ‘Kaminay'. But the director spoke to him about it only to pass it on to Shahid Kapoor.

The director-actor duo shared a great rapport thanks to the success of ‘Omkara' and Saif's amazing performance.

But Vishal is a perfectionist and eventually started feeling that Shahid would be the better choice for the script.

He started thinking that the role required a young actor and what turned on Vishal instantly was the thought of taking on the challenge of turning a chocolate boy into what is now seen in the promos.

So ‘Kaminey' could very well bring a change in Shahid's career like what ‘Omkara' did for Saif Ali Khan.

Now wonder actors vouch for Vishal Bharadwaj's work! Changes for the better are always welcome.
