Well, there have been some talks about Nagesg Kukunoor's ‘8 x10 Tasveer' being similar to Aamir Khan's recent hit ‘Ghajini'.

But the long stuck film's lead star Akshay Kumar claims otherwise.

He's said: "One shot, where I am doing like this (looking grim and baring his teeth) is probably the only thing which is similar between both the films"

‘Ghajini' was an action oriented film and it's being said that ‘Tasveer' is a supernatural thriller to its core.. He's also full of praise for Takia's consummate professionalism.

Most of the movie was shot in Canada, and Akshay is playing a different role of a sensitive young man with a psychic ability that allows him to see into the past. He claims that he's very happy that he tried his hand at portraying a different role, and is hoping that the movie is received well.

The movie features a stellar star cast including Ayesha Takia, Sharmila Tagore, Girish Karnad and Javed Jaffrey. Kukunoor says he's glad he got to work with his childhood idol, Sharmila Tagore.

He also informed that he got his idea when lying in bed one day and staring at an 8x10 picture. The film was written almost 5-years-ago, and took the right cast and crew to make it happen.

They are hoping that the movie will overcome the recession and will do well. We hope the audiences are delightful after the movie releases like how the cast and crew is hopeful now.
