Why do you think Pooja Batra is back on the screen and that too with a bang? The tall, lissome actress has six releases lined up one after the other and is negotiating for more. Two years ago, the actress has almost vanished from the scene despite an impressive performance in Priyadarshan's Virasat. Rumours doing the rounds then about her impending marriage to an NRI also damaged her career prospects.

She also refused more offers than any actress worth her salt ever would, on the flimsiest of grounds.After twiddling her thumbs in the interim, she is back and is often seen doing the item song jig with the likes of Govinda or a Sanjay Dutt. What could have been the reason for a sudden transformation?

"Filmmakers are taking a renewed interest in me," she coos. But anybody who has seen her in the last release, Akshay Kumar starrer, Talaash, would have more comments on her bod than her acting abilities. In fact, her skimpy dresses are almost identical to the itsy bitsy roles she gets to play in the films. Is that what she is looking for in life, after rejecting offers from Priyan, Kamal Hasan and Boney Kapoor?
