Filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah who has made films like Namastey London, Singh Is Kinng under his banner Blockbuster Movies Entertainers, has called into question the claim publicly made by actor-director Karan Razdan that the script entitled, Time Machine has been registered in his name and that the script was originally ideated by acclaimed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and he (Razdan) had written it years back.

Razdan had earlier written to Shah, debarring him from going ahead to make his film, Action Replay from script allegedly owned by him as he was in the process of making a film on the same for Manmohan Shetty's production house, Walkwater Media Shah has informed Razdan his forwarding the said letter to third parties is tantamount to defamation and that he reserved the rights to file a criminal case against Razdan, Shah has said that his film is based on a Gujarati play he had earlier written himself. Vipul has threatened a defamation suite on Razdan now.

Vipul Shah's Action Reply which has recently began shooting at Karjat's ND Studios stars Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and MTV VJ turned actor Ranvijay.
