UTV's niche film sub-brand, UTV Spotboy's latest film Chillar Party commenced shooting from Sunday May 3rd. The film marks the directorial debut of UTV Spotboy chief creative officer Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari.

Aimed at children and young at heart audiences alike, Chillar Party narrates the story of a bunch of kids from Chandan Nagar who have unusual names such as Encyclopedia, Jhanghia, Akram, Secondhand, Panauti, Silencer, Aflatoon and Shaolin.

There lives take a dramatic turn with the entry of two strangers Fatka and Bheedu. How together they go on alter the course of their future by never giving up on what they believe in forms the rest of the plot.

According to Vikas Bahl, they are aiming to offer a movie viewing experience with accentuated appeal and their venture, Chillar Party is all set to take their dedicated audience to cloud nine. With its humour spiced simplicity, Chillar Party will be the children's comedy of the year to watch out for is what they are most confident about.

Nitesh Tiwari adds, "For me Chillar Party is like chocolate. Kids and grownups will love it equally. We're hoping this film will change the way kids are looked at in films and the way kids' films are looked at in this country."

The film shall have music by Dev.D and Aamir fame Amit Trivedi.
