Malini kapoor is a versatile actress who has played many different roles in the past but now she is playing an interesting character in the Sony Sab's hilarious show Gunwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

It's a spoof on the producer Ekta Kapoor. "Basically it's a role of a producer called Kekta Kakoor. Its nothing that we want to hurt anyone's sentiment through this.

It's a very cute role where a family have kidnapped her and brought her to the house and they want to tell her that families are not only about saas bahu fights but there are other things also. There is so much of love also in the family and that's what we want to show you and we have kidnapped you for that in our house."

Even though Malini haven't met Ekta in personal it seems she has studied her very well, "I have taken up a proper get up of Ekta Kapoor. I have worn a tikka then all the rings and the stones she wears."
