We were waiting for this to happen from the very moment we saw Saathiya and finally it has happened. The cupid has struck Rani and the arrow has Vivek Oberoi`s name written on it. You can`t blame Rani for it, Vivek is the best thing happened to the Bollywood in recent times. And in case how did that happen? Simple.During the shooting of Saathiya in which the couple played miyan biwi, they got really close. They started spending a lot of time together, with the result that Vivek`s ex-fiancee Gurpreet got thoroughly upset. In fact, what we hear is that Rani`s association with Vivek became the catalyst for the split between the couple.

But then, Vivek does not talk about his personal life while Gurpreet has made it categorically clear that she has nothing to do with the man she stood by for so many years. Back to Rani. She has had two releases which have told the industry how good an actress she is. In Mujhse Dosti Karoge, a really bad film, hers was the only good performance. In Saathiya, a good remake, she eclipsed everybody including Vivek.

May be that is why the twosome have come close because Vivek might be consulting her on the finer points in acting. Poor Govinda. Not only is he losing hair and growing older, he is having one flop after another and distributors are wary of touching his films and now Rani has played truant too. We shouldf onlu wait and see whether Rani will return or continue with her new found friend?
