If you think Akshay is all macho who likes to flex his muscles all the time then you`re wrong. Akki baba is as docile as any other husband. He has a vulnerable persona too who likes to help his wife with her daily chores and take care of his son. But recently the brawny actor carried his macho image a bit too far when a sozzled Shakti Kapoor mouthed profanities against him and the Khiladi in the actor did some unrehearsed stunts on him.

While Akshay's act was applauded by the unit members instantly for not taking shit from anybody, most of his colleagues maintained a stiff upper lip. Were they offended? "I couldn't care less," is how he reacts. "That man was abusive unnecessarily and had to be put in his place," he asserts. So the wild machismo is at work even when he is desperately trying to change his screen image of an action hero to that of a performer. "The tough exterior is only a facade, he is and has always been a softie," reveals a close friend.

Hard to believe? But one look at the arrangement he has with spouse Twinkle should put all speculation to rest. He and wifey share everything on an equal footing – from the home expenditure, to household chores to luxuries to baby sitting and taking turns changing baby`s nappies. Now, would any other Bollywood actor do that?
