Filmmaker Shahjahan is feeling right now on the top of the moon. His film, Karma Crime Passion and Reincarnation which was well appreciated and had won several awards at Marbella International Film Festival, Spain has now emerged as a successful business venture at the recently concluded Cannes film festival.
An excited Shahjahan tells us, "I am delighted that people have reacted positively to my film. I have managed to sell the film at Cannes at a decent profit to International distributors. Internationally makers usually don't delve into reincarnation films and they either do horror or murder films and this was a different kind of film and I am glad its getting its deserved due."
He further adds, "Like its name suggests, Karma Crime Passion and Reincarnation is a crime thriller starring Carlucci Weyant and Alma Saracai. It is $5 Million dollar budgeted Hollywood film which I shot in India. I am now more excited to see how the Indian audience responds to it."
Shahjahan who started his career assisting Richard Attenborough in Gandhi tells us, "I have worked in Hollywood for a long time and have had a lot of exposure. But now I am looking forward to doing films in Bollywood.
We are working on a couple of films in both Hollwyood and Bollywood. My immediate next film is also a thriller. Right now I am busy concentrating on its script."
