Paan Singh Tomar is a real life story in which Irrfan plays the lead role opposite Mahie Gill.

Irrfan has four different looks for this movie. Irrfan shot extensively in the jungles of Dholpur and in Jim Corbett National Park. He plays an Army man, an athlete, a villager and lastly a dacoit. For every different role he has a different look all together.

Starting with when he plays an Army Officer he has a very thick moustache, for the athlete scenes he has a very thin facial hair, for the villager scene he has a clean shaven look and finally for the dacoit scenes he has a stubble look. Irrfan has put in a lot of effort for the movie.
