Mahima is going through some turbulent times. She broke up with Paes and careerwise too she isn`t doing very well either. Now the perky Mahima has decided to concentrate on her work. Recently she was seen sitting on director Mahesh Manjrekar's back while the director did push-ups at a local Mumbai gym. No, this is not a scene from some movie but from a TV commercial for Sirtex vests and briefs.

The ad, being directed by Manjrekar himself, shows the funky director doing push-ups at feverish pace while Mahima Chowdhary sits smiling on his back. Manjrekar sported a spiky hairstyle, vest, track pants and leather gloves for the ad. Manjrekar concedes that Mahima's weight on his back was ‘a bit hard to carry' while doing the push-ups at the same time.

In fact, the actress fell down a couple of times while shooting for the ad, but all was taken in good humor. The idea to include Mahima in the ad, says Manjrekar, was to show the machismo that is reflected in the vest and briefs. It may be mentioned that Mahima has acted in Mahesh Manjrekar's film Kurukshetra.
