Actors par excellence, Akshaye Khanna and Arshad Warsi re-unite in Anil Kapoor Productions' Shortkut after they were first seen together in Priyadarsan's former hit, Hulchul, also starring Kareena Kapoor.

At the recently concluded IIFA Awards where two promotional events for Shortkut were held, one did not show up at the do the other attended. This obviously had industry insiders speculating about likely problems between the two powerhouse performers.

However producer Anil Kapoor vehemently denied the rumour, "There is no problem. It's true they could not be on the same platform but that's just a coincidence."
