National Award winner for his role in Ram Gopal Varma's Jungle, actor Sushant Singh in todays recession times had
shown the big actor. He has done a film without charging a single rupee.
The film is Mohandas and is directed
by cinematographer turned director Mazhar Kamran. Incidentally, Kamran was the cinematographer of Sushant's first
big breaks, Ram Gopal Varma's Satya and Kaun.
An insider revealed, "Mohandas is based on a real life incident. It is about a man called Mohandas who has received a
job appointment, but when he reaches there he is shocked to learn that there's another Mohandas working in his place.
Sushant was very impressed with the story.
He felt so inspired by it that he knew he had to do it." Sushant did
not think twice before agreeing to work on it for free. "What mattered to Sushant were the creative satisfaction and not
the money. He did not charge for the film, " said the source.
Wish they'd made more like him Mohandas a film releasing on 10th July 2009.
