Coming from a humble background Mugdha says the feeling that people are appreciating my work is still sinking in. "It's a different high when people see you and call out to you on the streets.
Suddenly you are an icon and people want to reach out to you. When I went to the IIFA awards there were young boys and girls shouting my name. I was stunned I never knew the power of cinema.
But it has definitely boosted me to perform better now. I studied in a Marathi medium school and I took up modeling just for the fun of it. Before that I had taken up part time jobs. My parents have still not got over the fact that I am into movies. But after Fashion they are confident and happy about my career" she says.
