On being asked to express her views on being part of a show which is based on a social issue, she says "I am extremely blessed that I am part of a social drive. I am happy that I am able to spread across a message through my character and that it is been accepted by people out there."
How does she feel about her character's rigidness? She states "Ammaji has gone through a lot and that's the reason why she has turned rude and rigid. All this will be revealed in the serial later."
When asked about the fact that these issues are actually present in the society, she cuts in to say "I am extremely aware that even in today's age educated butchers are prevalent in the society, who wants a male child. I pity such people and I just hope we all will be able to help them in improving their thinking"
And lastly when asked about her character being compared with that of Dadisa (played by Surekha Sikri), she enunciates "I consider that my competition is with myself. I can't be compared with any other character as everybody has their own skills. And if I am able to do justice to the script, then I am successful."
Ammaji, even we hope that you succeed in bringing a revolutionary change in the mindset of people.
