Ace director Mani Ratnam has been shooting for the much-talked flick, Raavan for the past several months. The film stars Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The film's shoot is approaching its climax and Mani has taken a special permission from the Kerala Government to shoot his flick in certain interior regions of this beautiful country, in the area of the Silent Valley forest reserve.

The schedule is supposed to last for around 45 days and Mani is making sure to shoot it in a grand way. Though recession is still on, but the director is not compromising on the financial front, and would be using a helicopter to reach certain remote and inaccessible areas.
