The loyal fans of Asit Modi's popular slapstick comedy Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are in for a treat!

Viewers will soon witness opulence galore in the forthcoming episodes where the usually traditionally dressed up cast will don an interesting chic look!

On the occasion of Babita's birthday the entire set was ornamented and lighted. It was done in a very exclusive manner.

The entire cast was sporting formal attire, the men folk were seen wearing formal suits and the ladies wore gowns making the entire affair truly western!

We also hear that all the ladies went shopping with the designer and it took them a week to find the simple yet striking gowns for themselves. When contacted Moonmoon Dutta aka Babita said, "I have never celebrated my birthday in such a manner. It feels great! I would want to thank Producer Asitkumarr Modi for coming up with such a storyline."
