Our Lolo has been our of the rat race of Bollywood for a while now. She has been experimenting alot with her career and passed the baton to Bebo, who is firing all cylinders in the industry. Very soon you can see Karisma on Sahara TV for a a daily soap, Karisma - The Miracle. "I am no longer going to be part of the numbers game. I'm only going to do films which offer me satisfaction as an actress. Banners and costars no longer impress me: I have been part of most banners that make perfect CVs, but now it's time to do work that I want to do,"points out Karisma.

Kapoor confesses that trying out a different medium like television has been a deliberate move. "I am not likely to take up more television work right now, but Karisma... promises to be a good serial, based on Barbara Taylor Bradford's novel A Woman Of Substance. Akashdeep who directs the serial has roped in some very talented actors too, Arbaaz Khan, Atul Agnihotri. I had no problems about shifting gear to small screen, my only condition was the spotlight had to me trained mostly on me. I wasn't comfortable doing game shows/musicals because I am an actress, not a showgirl," quips Kapoor.
