One man who is really upset with the recent brawl involving Salman and Vivek is Suresh Oberoi. He was away at Pune undergoing an Ayurvedic health course when all this happened. "It's quite upsetting. I'll ensure that Vivek doesn't touch this sore topic at all. It's in the past now.", says the veteran actor.

Suresh feels the issue can take an ugly turn if not sorted out immediately. "People have instigated Vivek. Now, I'll handle the situation. It's my duty as a father to see that things get back to normal between them.," he says. Suresh says that Salman's father Salim "is like my elder brother. I have known the family for years. Vivek touches Salim's feet for blessings. This fight is between two children of the same family. It will be sorted out. Bhai-bhai ka jhagda hai."

He also says they won't file a complaint. "We could have done it the very day these guys fought. So why should I do it now?" However, Yashodha, Vivek's mother, said after the press conference that he has done the right thing. "He stood by what he believed in. I have instilled these values in my children," she said.
