When it comes to the cars, everyone knows that this Punjab da Puttar has passion for them. While most of us with expensive cars drive extra carefully for fear of a dent or scratch, the tough guy ‘Hero' believes you should drive as wantonly as you wish. So what if you have a Mercedes convertible sports roadster SL-500. And Mumbai's cabbies and rickshaw drivers find that out the hard way when Sunny takes it out for a spin.
Assuming that they can cut lanes and get away, only ‘cause no one would want to mess with an expensive car, the rickshaw wallas didn't know what was coming their way. One such hapless man kept zig-zagging in front of the Deol gaddi, giving a close shave to the metal finish of the sparkling care. But Sunny wasn't' about to let it pass. He geared up the five-litre engine and overshot the ‘auto-rickshaw' in a second (all the while keeping to his lane). And the rickshaw was squeezed in to a corner. But it was so close that there was a sickening crunch and the rear-view mirror holder broke.
But, irrespective of the 25,000 rupee nuksaan, Sunny was grinning – having taught someone road rules at last. As his co-passenger and designer – Simple told us, "I could've bought a new rickshaw in that much." But a lesson was a lesson.
