Bollywood starlet Monica Bedi, the former companion of jailed gangster Abu Salem, will now be seen on the small screen in filmmaker Anubhav Sinha's new thriller show "Mr & Mrs Mishra".

After having made a comeback last year to the entertainment world with reality shows "Bigg Boss 2" and "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3", Monica will essay the role of a prime suspect in a murder case in the show.

The show will be aired on Sahara One.

She also undertook a workshop organised by the producers to help her prepare for her role, which has grey shades.

"The plot of the show is very interesting and different since there is a reality show woven within the plot. Besides, it's very much like 'Bigg Boss' which is very close to my heart; as it really helped me in making a very successful comeback, " Monica said in a press release.
