Former hockey player and coach, Mir Ranjan Negi, who inspired the 2007 hit, Chak De India, is all set to play a sports coach in the TV show, Palampur Express.

He was finalized to appear on the show on Wednesday. He is excited about his role, as it is very close to what he is in real life.

While Negi hasn't watched any episodes of Palampur Express, he believes acting is all about spontaneity.

His role is that of a coach who spots talent in the show's lead, Akangsha Rawat who plays Pavni. Negi thinks it won't be very difficult, provided, the people haven't forgotten how he looks!
