"After my stint in roadies I came back to Mumbai and started working in a production house. With that I was getting offers for many serials, but Basera had a strong storyline and star cast, thus I said yes for the show," says Suzanna.
When asked, which production house the girl is working, she quips, "Well I don't want to take the name but as in Basera they require me for 10 to 12 days, I can easily concentrate on my work behind the camera."
Why are you getting into acting when you wanted to be behind the camera? "As I said, I was getting lots of offer to act, so just thought of giving it a try. As an actor I've not yet discovered my self but planning to do so; my production work will go side by side," she adds.
Talking about her role in Basera the actress quips, "I essay the role of Ujjwala who is an 18 year old girl and very modern. I play sister to Priya Bhateja in the show. This character is very similar to that in real life also."
"I did not wish to become an actor, as sitting with make up in the vanity van is much more difficult than working in production house. But now, I am enjoying both the world," she concludes.
Well let's see how her journey starts from reality to fiction as the show starts from today at 9.30 pm.
