Talk about living in a shell. Ram Gopal Varma learnt how embarrassing it could get when he failed to recognize
Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently.
The cricketer met the director in the VIP lounge at the Bangalore airport and
was shocked when Ramu thought he was a wannabe actor wanting his number. He brushed off the captain giving him
his office number and asking him to drop off his photos there.
Dhoni was left stunned at that.
Ramu admitted to knowing absolutely nothing about cricket. He treated Dhoni like any other upcoming actor, eager to
work with him. Although he denied that he asked him to drop off his photos.
He remained blissfully unaware
about who Dhoni was until people around him told him that it was Dhoni. He would like to apologize to Dhoni the next
time he meets him.
As for upcoming actors rushing to Ramu for movie offers, we doubt that'll happen any time
soon now, not when everyone is still shocked at the debacle, Agyaat.
