The story is about three individuals, that of a married couple and the tenant of their house. "I am playing Mrs. Anjini Dutt who is a music teacher. Akshay Kapoor and I are playing married couple in the film. Due to financial crisis we decide to rent a portion of our house to Ashish Chaudhary. After his arrival in our life, things turn upside down, as roses become thorns, " she briefs about the film.
As this is her first film, she is leaving no stones unturned to attain perfection. She had to lose some extra pounds to play this character, as she has donned more of winter jackets in the film.
She has also taken a crash course to play violin for two months before calling the shots. "I have done all the stunts in the film by myself, I do drive car, but in this film I had to drive it at a speed of 180-200 km per hr with screeching turns, " she shares.
Nausheen has though proved her versatility as an actress on television, but confronting big screen was not a cakewalk for her.
"I remember we were shooting the last scene. It was a night shoot around 3am. I was trying hard but due to drowsiness I was not getting the act technically right. Director Vishal Pandya is very understanding; he gave me a break of half an hour. Finally after the break I gave a perfect shot and it turned out to be the best scene in the film, " she recalls.
The lady is fortunate to begin her filmy safar with renowned filmmaker Vikram Bhatt. "I am awestruck with his persona. He is such an intelligent person, I simply love to listen to him, " she goes on.
She became a household name with her first serial, but did not plan to repeat the history again. "I always wanted to do films, even before Kkusum but my parents would not allow me then.
As today, the film scenario is different, there is more of a professional approach, so they have approved of me doing films, " she reasons. She has not quit television, but while she is doing a film she would not take up any tele-projects.
She is the pioneer tele-actress to refuse to age onscreen for Ekta's leap trend. This almost deserted her tele-career. But hey gal, everything happens for a reason.
