Sensuous Urmila Matondakar received the Maharashtra Gaurav Award on May 1 for her outstanding contribution to the film industry.The award was presented by Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani on Labour Day, at the Parliament House auditorium in New Delhi.

After receiving the award, Urmila said that it was an honor to be recognized not for just a role but for her overall contribution to the Indian film industry.Urmila will soon be seen acting in Ramgopal Varma's horror film Bhoot.
