Raj Kapoor started his family Ganpati celebration many years back. The following generations of his family have carried forward the tradition of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi.

According to Neetu Kapoor, the RK Ganpati is kept for 12 days while the Ganpati at their house is for five days. Rishi Kapoor does the Ganpati puja. Ranbir is shooting in Mumbai so he tries to come for the morning puja whenever possible.

Riddhima just returned to Delhi so she isn't there but everyone else from the Kapoor family is.

Ganpati in the Kapoor household is a huge celebration. Family and friends get together and have lunch.

Neetu feels that the god is like a family member to her, who comes home and fills you with happiness and that's why she gets very upset during the immersion. Hope the Kapoors have a great Ganesh Chaturthi, as always.
