We can understand Raveena's love for offbeat cinema but her maiden venture 'stumped' leaves her bowled out. After the several initial hiccups, the film managed and a release but to make the matter worse it doesn't even deliver half the fun promised. Gaurab Pandeydirects this dud in the backdrop of Kargil war.

Reema Seth (Raveena) is married to Major Raghav (Aly Khan), who is called away to the battlefront during the Kargil war, even as her neighbourhood, full of cricket-crazy fans, is looking forward to World Cup 1999. The most avid cricket lovers among these are Mr. Khetrapal followed by Girish, Gautam and Bhola. However the secretary of the society, Mr. Subramanium, head the anti-cricket campaign along with another resident, Latloo Singh. During the India-Sri Lanka match the two cut the cable wire, to teach everybody a lesson.

Events reach a turning point when Reena receives the news that her husband Major Raghav is missing and presumed dead, while her neighbors celebrate the home team`s win. Raveena jars terribly seems lost amid, everything going wrong scenario. Aly Khan fails to impress as Major Seth. Music doesn't help the film in any way and so is the special appearance by Salman Khan and the cricket stars.

The director tries to encash on nation's biggest passion, cricket, but ends up messing everything ranging from cricket to cinema. While the film seems torn between the two parallal storylines, poor script and direction do the rest of the damage.
