Sanjay Gupta is facing troubled times. The director is going through a rough financial phase. He had recently invested a lot of money on a Khandala resort along with close friend Sanjeev Chaddha.

But after suffering from financial losses, Gupta ended the deal. According to Haneef Chunawala, Gupta's close colleague, it was because of some personal reasons and not because of financial problems. But some sources claim otherwise.

Gupta also had a disagreement with close friend Sanjay Dutt and the two aren't on talking terms now.
